 Where We WorkHondurasCentersNueva Esperanza

Nueva Esperanza

San Pedro Sula

Nueva Esperanza (New Hope) is an orphanage for the protection of younger children, from birth to 12 years old. At any time there could be 80-150 babies and children who have been abandoned, sexually and/or physically abused, living in extreme poverty, street wandering, neglected or malnourished. The number of children fluctuates considerably because this is the first point of placement by judges, police, and social workers for children in harm's way. Orphan Helpers has two female staff members teaching elementary school classes, supervising sports activities, and assisting with child care throughout the day. Orphan Helpers sends missionaries who teach, play and love these children.
