"I couldn't have asked for a more incredible trip as I learned, grew, and shared the love of God with some of the most broken-hearted youth and children in the world."  -Hilary, 2007 summer intern An Orphan Helpers internship is available for any individual who desires to work in Central America for an extended period of time. It is open to all ages, but is the perfect opportunity for college students or those who have recently graduated. Interns are welcome anytime during the year, although most serve during the summer. You can completely customize your trip: you decide where to go, how long, and what you will do (with our guiding help, of course!).   Internship programs are specifically designed based on your individual skills, interests, and our ministry needs. Past interns have served teaching music, English, computer, and Bible classes. The beauty of internships is that we can customize your program around your unique gifts and interests! Interns are encouraged to have a "conversational level" of Spanish.   Interns raise their own support. The cost varies greatly with each individual. All lodging, flights, food, transportation, and program costs are included.             Invest a month, a summer, a semester or a year in the lives of the orphaned, abused, and incarcerated children of Central America. The investment you make in a child's life today will make a difference for tomorrow. These children face an empty future with no chance to live out their potential.
