Prayer Support

Thanks so much for your prayer support for Orphan Helpers! Here are some of our most recent prayer requests for the ministry:

For all our kids to know Christ in a real and powerful way For Orphan Helpers to be lead by God’s heart and His Holy Spirit Wisdom for the leaders of this ministry and in all decisions For God’s work through Mini Bible College, for continued discipleship & growth For additional finances needed to support ministry growth For enough Bibles to give to every child or teenager who asks! El Salvador Praise that God has allowed us to place a teacher in CIPI! (orphanage for girls and babies). Pray for Idalia, for God to work in mighty ways through her. In her first month of working at CIPI, 19 girls came to Christ! Praise that God has allowed us to place two teachers in the female juvenile detention center across from CISNA. (These girls used to be at Ilobasco). Pray for these girls' hearts to be softened and open to God's love and redemption. For the the Promise House, a halfway home for young single mothers and their infants. Please pray for the girls and their babies and toddlers living in the house, that they will grow in the Lord during this time. Pray that God will bring miraculous healing from horrific sexual abuse. For the boys in the Faith House; for their for spiritual growth, maturity, and leadership qualities to develop. Pray that God will teach them discipline and love and compassion for others. The girls in Hope House: for the girls to be open to God’s plan and Word, for their spiritual growth and maturity. Pray that God will provide opportunities for vocational training and jobs after they graduate from the house. For Manuel, the El Salvador Coordinator--for wisdom, discernment, and strength.   Tegucigalpa The girls in the Hope House; for their relationships with God and with one another to grow and be strengthened, and for them to find grace and love in Christ. Please pray for our staff to find joy each day. For the staff at Rebirth detention center, that God would continue to give them love for the boys. For the devotionals held each morning, that God would reveal Himself to the boys each day. For Miriam, our newest Tegucigalpa Coordinator. For God to give her wisdom and leadership. San Pedro Sula For Nueva Esperanza, an orphanage in SPS. It is over capacity with 130 children. Please pray that God will send workers and caregivers for the children, and that He will bring peace and safety to the kids. For 6 girls at Mujeres Adolescentes that just accepted Christ! Please pray for these girls, as well as Olga and the staff as they mentor these young girls as they grown in Christ. Praises! For the libraries that have been set up at CISNA, Mujeres Adolescentes, Nueva Esperanza, and Casitas Kennedy.  For God’s faithfulness & provision  For the blessing of Christ, for God giving us hope, and the joy of sharing His love Last Updated: November 25, 2009
